Weekly challenge 193

Hello all!

On this Veteran's day, I honor my grandfathers and my uncle Jere. Thank you for your service and I wish the world was a kinder place that hadn't needed you to risk your lives for us. But you did and I thank you! Thank you to all who serve.
My Grandpa Chaz after he climbed Mt Fuji. My grandmother went to Japan on a cargo ship in order to be with him. She did not climb the mountain. ;-) I only have vague memories of him, as he died of a heart attack when I was three. I wish I knew you more. The stories my grandma tells make me realize that  we would have been great friends, not just family.
My Pop Pop and Gum (I dedicated the breast cancer challenge to her!) they have been married for over 60 years. They've known each other since kindergarten. How cute is that?
And my Uncle Jere, one of the funniest, kindest men I know. The Vietnam war was hard on him and left lasting scars but he still finds humor to be the best medicine of all.

So here's my entry for the THX challenge!
Didn't really do Huggins correctly, and I'm not sure I like it with the other two patterns, but I'm super pleased with the Trio. I may be cutting it out to use elsewhere.

Have a good one!

  7. Trio is my favorite of these 3 tangles also. I don't know if your Huggins is "traditional", but I like the tile look you achieved.
