First one! (She bites her nails nervously as she greets the world)

Ok, so first post. Well, actually second because my first disappeared. But not before my keyboard went invisible and I impressively continued to do a bang up job of typing. And by that I mean, I'm on my iPad. Not a physical keyboard.
I read somewhere to just be yourself on these things, so yea.  I'm being myself. And rambling via text.

I don't have a stream of consciousness, I have a bouncing ball.

Anywho, I guess I'll introduce myself a bit.

So I work with kids with disabilities, which I find very rewarding and challenging. I'm supposed to be an art teacher, but I couldn't find a position and I found this job and haven't left. As my name suggests, I am a practicing Buddhist. I live in PA, which is nice most of the time. I have narcolepsy, which is annoying and difficult but art is an outlet for me. I will probably address that from time to time.  Maybe I'll use this blog as an outlet for that too. Who knows where this blog will go.

I figure my first post should include something I've made, since I said I'd do that. So here I go.

This was my first entry to the weekly challenges by the Diva. It's Challenge #190, and its for my grandmother, who I call Gum. She had breast cancer in the early 80's. She and my Pop Pop recently had a house built in the mountains and spend a lot of time there. This one's for you Gum!
